Rain: Love it or Hate it?

Do you like the rain?

I have a love-hate relationship with the water that so happily pours its love here in WA state. We get A LOT of it. When it first starts, after a long dry spell, I love it. Listening to the pitter-patter of the rain makes me happy. It calms me, soothes my soul, provides bliss. But when it hasn't let up for days and days on end it becomes like sandpaper to my heart. I'm so sick of it, it hurts. It makes me sad and depressed. And on those days I want the sun to come so badly. But then the cycle begins again...
